quality that began over four decades ago. Founded in 1980 by Late Hakeem Hafiz Qari Abdul
Waheed Khan, Khan Masala started as a humble trade with just 3-4 basic spices like mirchi (chili),
dhaniya (coriander), and haldi (turmeric).

The foundation of Khan Masala was laid when our founder discovered that the spices available in
the market were neither pure in taste nor beneficial for health. Driven by his passion for wellness
and honesty, he began personally sourcing raw spices from local markets, examining them for
quality, and grinding them at home using a small grinder he bought himself. In a time when
transportation and resources were scarce, especially in the 1980s, his commitment and hard work
stood tall.
What started with a handful of customers grew into a trusted name, as people began to notice the
unmatched aroma, purity, and effectiveness of his handcrafted masalas.

Today, his legacy is proudly carried forward by his sons, Ziya ul Islam Khan and Faiyaz ul Islam
Khan, who have transformed Khan Masala into a full-fledged brand offering 200+ spice varieties and
ready-to-cook food products. Despite the scale, the core values remain unchanged – the same
dedication to quality, the same passion for purity, and the same ability to fulfill any size of order on
short notice, just like their father once did.
